The Artificer’s Apprentice

I never expected to become an artificer.

After my mother’s death, I left a house where I was no longer wanted, determined to find an apprenticeship that would give me food, shelter, and a future. I found one with Master Cooper - a brilliant, bad-tempered artificer who insists he doesn’t take apprentices, even as he puts me to work.

Artificery isn’t about grand magic. It’s about tools, patience, and learning to do things properly. Starting from nothing, I’ll sweep floors, forge tools, and earn every scrap of progress the hard way.

Skill by skill, project by project, I’ll build something better - both in the workshop and in myself.

All that’s left is to pass my apprenticeship, improve my craft, and hold on to the first place that’s ever felt like home.
